The SIDC develops strategies to encourage inclusion and increase awareness of diversity in federal, state and local governments; schools, colleges and universities; private organizations, and local community. Membership levels in the SIDC are "Active" and "Supporter". Members work together to foster a greater understanding of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, and physical disabilities.
This subcommittee coordinates all aspects of this annual event that brings together a diverse and action-minded group of advocates committed to working together to stop Human Trafficking. Unique to this mission is to unite Law Enforcement government agencies, social service providers, and advocates together in a powerful dialogue of this problem.
This subcommittee promotes and develops the SIDC's mission of teaching the appreciation of diversity and issues surrounding human trafficking through the development of activities, presentations and programs for delivery in schools, community and workplace. These interactive presentations facilitate dialogue focused on teaching tolerance and the celebration Savannah's. unique, diverse and eclectic population and the increase the awareness of how to recognize and respond when witnessing human trafficking.
This subcommittee oversees the communications and marketing decisions for SIDC Events and Outreach. This subcommittee will create the communications plan that will expand community outreach and involvement.
This subcommittee's primary responsibility is to promote, build and sustain an active membership and the measured growth of our organization.
This subcommittee oversees the fundraising action plan including giving opportunities, events and activities.
